DetailsTwenty-four (24) premium Hunt Tiles are now available for WAR of the RING, the board game of grand strategy based on the tales of Middle Earth by J.R.R. Tolkien.
These are 20mm tokens of glass and metal, smaller than those in the original game, but with that premium “heavyweight” feel we like.
A thirty (30) piece version is available for the Lords of Middle Earth and Kings of Middle Earth expansions.
Creatio Games refreshes board game experiences—these tokens are upgrades I designed for my play group so we could more easily intuit the game icons. Now War of the Ring fans from more than 30 countries worldwide enjoy them too. Welcome!
If the OG cardboard tokens are fast food and 3D prints are Applebee's, my aim with these tokens is to get a Michelin star. Don't know if this succeeded, but many hours have been spent on the icons themselves—in a way they resemble Middle Earth hieroglyphs. Then, I craft each piece from glass, metal and premium paper, touching things up with ink or paint as needed.
