DetailsCreatio Games has created an unofficial set of premium Faction Tokens in glass and metal—one for each nation in WAR of the RING, the classic wargame based on J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved Middle Earth.
On the side of the Free Peoples are five factions:
• Men of Gondor
• Elven Kingdoms of Lindon, Rivendell, Lothlórien and Mirkwood (artwork updated, can provide photos)
• Dwarves of Ered Luin and Erebor
• Northern Men (artwork updated, can provide photos)
• Horse-Lords of Rohan
Thus are the Free Peoples destined.
On the Shadow side lurk three factions:
• Witch-King in Mordor
• Saruman in Isengard (artwork updated, can provide photos)
• Southron and Easterling hordes in their ancestral lands
Thus shall the forces of Sauron be gathered for war.
The glassed and colourful side of the token means the faction is active. Flip it over and you get the inactive side in the form of a tiny icon recessed "under lock and key." Shades of the Doors of Durin in Moria?
Creatio Games refreshes board game experiences—these tokens are upgrades I designed for my play group so we could more easily intuit the game icons. Now War of the Ring fans from more than 30 countries worldwide enjoy them too.
Each symbol has been carefully designed to convey something of the faction they represent. Forge the destiny of an age with these highly collectible, intuitive and playable War of the Ring game tokens.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Although the tokens are fairly tough, glass can be damaged. Treat with care. -

Absolutely fantastic quality. The OG tokens in the game are drab and difficult to work out which faction they come from. These ones really help make the game pop!
