DetailsCreatio Games presents a limited edition version of our original Political Tokens—one for each faction in WAR of the RING, the board game based on the tales of J.R.R. Tolkien.
You will receive a set of 8 glass and metal tokens, one for the horse-lords of Rohan, one for the soldiers of Gondor, one for the Northern men, one for the Dwarves of Ered Luin and Erebor, and one for the Elven kingdoms of Lindon, Rivendell, Lothlórien and Mirkwood. Thus shall the Free Peoples be united.
One glass and metal token for the Witch-King in Mordor, one for Saruman in Isengard and one for the combined Southron and Easterling hordes in their ancestral lands. Thus are the forces of darkness gathered for war.
This new version features colourful and original faction artwork under glass representing the active side. Then, a 3-D metal piece is fastened on the reverse, designating the faction as inactive.
We here at Creatio Games delight in refreshing players' board game experiences. These tokens are upgrades I designed for my play group in order to more easily intuit the game icons. Now War of the Ring fans from more than 30 countries worldwide enjoy them too.

These are such excellent faction tokens! The ones that come with the game are too hard to distinguish. I had previously tried a cheaper solution of plastic color borders, which helped, but still not as easy to distinguish as these. The active/inactive sides are so very distinct, you can tell with a quick glance. The factions are much easier to distinguish from the iconography than the original. The only odd one is the Northern kingdom now as a hummingbird, which is different than online, but the color makes it very clear. I hesitated a long time because of the cost, but I wish I had splurged earlier!
